In this house, the former Hotel Austria, in 1853 emperor Franz Josef became engaged to princess Elisabeth in Bayern, called Sisi.




Nowadays it is home of a museum, whos historical, cultural und folkloristic collections documents the history of Bad Ischl. Special exhibitions and a various program are offered.
