14. Emperor Franz Josef trotting race

Every year, the riding and driving association Bad Ischl organizes the Emperor Franz Joseph's memorial fire on the already established 19th century, k.u.k. Trabrennbahn in the Kaltenbachau.

The starters can expect a total of 8 trotting races and 1 trotting width and the sporting highlight is the "Bad Ischl Trotting Marathon" over a race distance of 2,620 m for the international standing class.
For visitors, there are many good places along the 600-metre-long course to get up close to the event. There will also be a lottery on this race day.

Admission is free and refreshments will be provided in all weather conditions.
