Österreichischer Alpenverein - Sektion Bad Ischl

With the exception of a short section in the Sandling area (maintained by the Lambach section), the section maintains all alpine hiking trails (approx. 111 km) in the municipal area and in some cases even beyond (parts of the municipal area of Bad Goisern, Ebensee and also Altaussee). The climbing hall of the OeAV section Bad Ischl is located in the building next to the valley station of the Katrin cable car.

The climbing hall is set up in a 55 m² room with a height of 14.5 metres. A 340 m² climbing wall with a 50 m² bouldering area is available for climbing. There are currently around 30 routes from the fourth to the upper eighth level of difficulty.
