Bad Ischl City Festival 2026
From 3 to 5 July, the Kurpark and town centre will be transformed into a festival mile full of music, entertainment and good cheer.
The warm-up party in the Kurpark kicks off on Friday, 3 July, with a stage programme from 18:30, while the rides are already open.
On Saturday, 4 July, the entire town centre will be in the mood: the traditional parade starts at 11:00, followed by a varied programme from 13:00 to 00:00.
The cosy finale is on Sunday, 5 July, with a morning pint in the Kurpark and open fairground rides.

A special highlight awaits visitors to the Kurpark: Austrian musician Anna Buchegger delights with her energetic performance and catchy pop-rock hits. With her sensitive voice and stage presence, she is one of the most exciting artists on the local music scene.

Following her highly acclaimed debut "Windschatten" (October 2024) - honoured with two Amadeus Award nominations, the Hubert von Goisern Culture Prize 2024 and an ARTE TRACKS portrait - Austrian musician Anna Buchegger is releasing her second album "Soiz". With "Soiz", Buchegger opens the next chapter - one that is only just beginning.
She remains true to dialect as an artistic statement and confronts alpine tradition with self-irony, feminist attitude and avant-garde sound language. Between couture and traditional costume, an artistic figure emerges who does not preserve her homeland, but critically questions it. The album climbed to number 6 in the Austrian monthly album charts and marks the start of an intensive live phase with over 40 shows in 2026.

On Saturday, the SISSIKUSS terrace will be transformed into a summery daydrinking lounge. From 14:00 to 16:00, DJ LUC will be playing his house set, followed by fine beats, refreshing drinks and a relaxed beach house atmosphere for a real holiday feeling on Bad Ischl's Esplanade.
