Guided town walks in Bad Ischl
Guided tours of the imperial city take place all year round.
The knowledge about the history of the city, its inhabitants and famous guests is imparted by the state-certified Austria Guides. Each guide passes on the information to the participants in his or her own charming way. Thus, every guided tour is unique and it is worthwhile to take part in more than one tour.
On more than 300 guided tours a year, around 6000 guests from all over the world experience the incomparable flair of the imperial town of Bad Ischl.
Weekly tours
Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday
The themed tour on Thursdays at 3.30 p.m. always discusses a special topic, which changes monthly.
On Wednesday at 3.30 p.m. and Sunday at 10 a.m., general guided tours of the town are offered and you learn interesting facts about Bad Ischl.
The guided tours cost 9 euros per person. With the Ischl Card, Salzkammergut Card and the guest card (from the accommodation and health resorts in Bad Ischl) the tours are free.
The duration of the tour is 1 1/2 hours and is always in German.
