A large number of congresses and conferences take place in Bad Ischl every year. In addition to local companies, large national and international companies also choose Bad Ischl as a venue for congresses.

For example, in June 2016 Bad Ischl hosted the World Conference of the League of Historical Cities. 107 cities from all continents are members of this association and there were several hundred participants.

In addition to the Congress & TheaterHaus in the Kurpark of Bad Ischl, there are other locations which are gladly used for congresses and conferences.
