an exquisitely curated Advent market featuring
around 40 select exhibitors from all over Austria, Bavaria, and especially from
the Salzkammergut.
Craftsmanship, quality, and unique gift ideas

special Christmas gifts. Among the exhibitors are Stillsegler
and Consches.

25th Anniversary Exhibition: MEISTERSTRASSE
A special highlight this year is MEISTERSTRASSE, which is participating in the
AdventZauber. In the North Stable, it presents an exhibition
of selected artisanal businesses from various industries, thereby
traditional craftsmanship, quality, and contemporary artisanal work. 25
years after the first MeisterAdvent in Bad Goisern, the
MEISTERSTRASSE is thus returning to the Salzkammergut:
With traditional mulled wine from a copper kettle, masterful cuisine, and the finest
craftsmanship from the region and beyond: “The master craftsmen are here, letting
you look over their shoulders, and are happy to reveal a secret or two
behind their unique products,” reveal Nicola and Christoph Rath,
the founders of MEISTERSTRASSE.
When selecting exhibitors, the organizers place special emphasis on
quality and authentic craftsmanship. “You can tell when things are made by hand
rather than just manufactured. They tell a story; you enjoy them for longer
—and giving them as gifts comes from the heart,” say Christine Habsburg-
Lothringen and Johanna Sarnthein.
Advent spirit against a historic backdrop
The stables of the Kaiservilla are now among the most popular event and
exhibition venues in the Salzkammergut. Where Empress Sisi’s horses once
rested after her rides, a special
pre-Christmas atmosphere.
Set against the backdrop of the historic Imperial Villa, the sprawling park, and the Jainzen
culinary highlights, fire pits, and select handcrafted goods—
accompanied by music from the Ischl hunting horn players, invite you to linger and enjoy
.
“We want to create a place where you don’t just find special gifts,
but also spend an atmospheric time together and kick off
Advent,” say the organizers.
