Swimming in Bad Ischl and the Salzkammergut
There are over 70 lakes in the Salzkammergut. From Lake Attersee to Lake Wolfgangsee and Lake Gosausee, it is a paradise for water lovers. Bad Ischl is located in the centre of the region and is therefore the ideal starting point for excursions to the surrounding bathing lakes.
Bad Ischl itself is home to the Parkbad. It offers bathing fun for young and old. In the cold season or when the weather is not quite so nice, there is the EurothermenResort in Bad Ischl.

The former private swimming pool of Empress Elisabeth is located below the Kaiservilla.
From May to August, visitors have the opportunity to use the sports pool, the diving towers or the adventure pool with slide and current channel. There is a baby pool for very young visitors.
There is also a beach volleyball court, a children's playground and a chill-out area.
