Hiking in Bad Ischl
Explore the hikes in Bad Ischl and the surrounding area.
The path from the Rettenbachalm to the Blaa-Alm has been closed since October 2020 until further notice. A hike from Bad Ischl to Altaussee is therefore currently not possible. The extensive hiking possibilities on the Rettenbachalm and on the Blaa-Alm are, however, available as usual.
The brine pipeline path between Steeg and Hallstatt is closed until further notice. In addition to rockfalls, woodwork and mudslides, ash dieback is also a reason for this closure, which has now lasted longer. The Bad Ischl-Steeg section has been open again since July 2021.
