"Customs around the merry month of May"
On Sunday, May 17, 2026, from 16:00, the Salzkammergut Maisingen will take place in the Lauffner pilgrimage church "Maria im Schatten".
Top-class singers and musicians such as the Ausseer Bradlmusi trio, the Ischler Weisenbläser, the Wolfganger Viergesang, the Inhofer Dreigesang from Salzburg and harpist Waltraud Stögner will create an impressive singing event to mark the month of May, the month of bliss and Mary.
The popular folk culture speaker Peter Gillesberger will recite selected texts in dialect about the many different customs in May, as well as talk about the month of Mary, supplications and the special Lauffner pilgrimage song.
