Alpine festival on the Katrin Alm

Tradition meets culinary delights on the Katrin Alm at the start of summer in the Salzkammergut

At the start of summer, the unique landscape of the Katrin Alm becomes the backdrop for a wonderful festival.

With the Katrin ALMFEST on Thursday, May 18, 2023, the cable car, together with the Katrin Berggasthof and the Katrin Almhütte, offers its guests a very special experience.

The traditional costume association D'Ischler creates an atmosphere on the mountain that you won't forget for a long time.

With the club music, the dance group, the Paschers of the "kloan Pass" and the Ischler Seitlpfeifern, "g'spielt, 'tanzt und g'sunga" and local customs are celebrated.

At the Katrin Almhütte, the Dampfplauderer provide the best musical atmosphere.

The festival is rounded off with delicacies from the barbecue as well as beer from the wooden barrel and exquisite wines.

The Almfest starts at 11 a.m. and can be visited either by Katrin cable car or on foot via the hiking trails.
