traditional home-style cooking, snacks, home made cakes Anyone who has ever been a guest at the beautiful Siriuskogl restaurant in the idyllic small town of Bad Ischl will know how passionately and creatively the culinary craft is celebrated there.

The 35-year-old restaurateur and chef Christoph Krauli Held is a culinary visionary and lateral thinker. In his restaurant, which he has been running since the age of 21 with a young and highly committed team, old recipes and traditional dishes are skilfully conjured up into contemporary delicacies using modern techniques and original ideas. Seasonal and regional products play a major role in Held's cuisine, which are often flavoured internationally and thus sent on a journey, but brought back to the Salzkammergut at the last moment. Without exception, everything is home-made: the bacon is smoked directly at the Siriuskogl in the forest, and a wide variety of ice creams, including classics and unusual flavours such as asparagus white chocolate, are made with love. New ideas are constantly emerging in the kitchen and recipes are constantly being tinkered with and refined. The standard is high: everything should be different from other restaurants.
The passionate chef is convinced that different processes can go wrong from time to time so that something new can be created.

For some time now, Christoph Krauli Held has not only enjoyed a reputation as a sought-after TV chef on his own YouTube programme "held&herd", he is also known from many different public media reports. The young, dynamic catering collective at Siriuskogl is always happy to welcome visitors.

A small animal enclosure, an adventure playground and the sensory wonder trail also guarantee unforgettable experiences for our youngest guests.
