2nd day: Bad Aussee – Bad Mitterndorf – Grundlsee – Bad Aussee
~ 68 km difference in alltitude: 1171 1079 m; ca. 4,5 - 5 hrs.
Today's tour takes you past the Sarstein Forest where you can enjoy the panoramic view with Loser, Sandling and Dachstein. Continue along the Kainischtraun and around the Ödensee past the Steinitzenalm and the Salzastausee to Bad Mitterndorf. From there along the Salza to the highest point of this stage, the Klaushöfl at 1200 m, downhill to Grundlsee with a small jump into the lake before continuing along the lake back to Bad Aussee.

3rd day: Bad Aussee – Bad Ischl
~ 50 km, difference in alltitude: 1390 1651 m; ca. 4,25 hrs. You start today’s tour in Bad Aussee towards Altaussee via the Blaa Alm at the foot of the loser. Enjoy the impressive natural landscape along the Rettenbach and the Grabenbach. In serpentines, the trail goes up steadily through the Vorderen Sandlinggraben to the highest point of the tour at 1384 m. The trail continues past the Raschberghütte, the Rossmoosalm and the Berghof Predigstuhl. Passing a variety of tunnels from the salt extraction, we finally reach the finish of the stage to Bad Ischl. 4th day: Bad Ischl – Grünau im Almtal
~ 75 km, difference in alltitude: 1395 1333 m; 5,5 hrs.
The trail takes you along the Traun to Ebensee. It continues from Ebensee through Traunkirchen via Neukirchen to Altmünster and Gmunden. From Gmunden past the Traunstein to Almegg and on to Grünau im Almtal.

5th day: Grünau im Almtal – Bad Ischl - Bad Aussee
~ 48 km to Bad Ischl, difference in alltitude: 1262 1308 m; 4,5 hrs.
Today's tour starts in the direction of Almsee from where it continues uphill to Offensee. From Offensee a downhill trail leads you to the Offensee district road from where you continue on a Uphill trail and a shared trail to Rindbach and then to Ebensee. From here it continues along the Traun back to Bad Ischl. You can cycle further to Bad Aussee or take the train to Bad Aussee.
