The purpose of the Ischler Heimatverein is
- the research and care of the homeland and its folklore and customs
- to win over the widest possible circles of the population for these tasks
- the awakening of a deeper love of the homeland
- to supplement the relevant collections of the municipality of Bad Ischl
- Support (co-operation) and promotion of the museum of the town of Bad Ischl
- the organisation of exhibitions, events and lectures.
