The artist's engagement with her own Carinthian homeland has driven her to create a wide variety of artistic forms of hunting: from mandalas to animated films to printed hunting collages for the dining room. We should be on our guard! Good hunting!

Ina Loitzl embroiders, sews, cuts, prints, paints and films - all in the spirit of the subject matter, folk culture. In her artistic work, she combines craftsmanship with kitsch and media images, unmasking reality and appearance. She shows an image that superficially conveys joie de vivre, but at the same time points to its rigid, restrictive conventions and attributions. By confronting aspects of customs with the modern reality of life and placing them in a global field of reference, the artist distinguishes authentic customs from emotionally charged homeland fussiness on the one hand and deciphers the abysmal and abusive disposition of their content on the other.
