In addition to local companies, large national and international companies also choose Bad Ischl as a venue for congresses. For example, in June 2016 Bad Ischl hosted the World Conference of the League of Historical Cities. 107 cities from all continents are members of this association and there were several hundred participants. In addition to the Congress & TheaterHaus in the Kurpark of Bad Ischl, there are other locations which are gladly used for congresses and conferences. Congress and Theatre House -------------------------- Behind the historic façade are modern and light-flooded conference rooms for congresses or events and product presentations. Sophisticated stage technology with many design options can be found in the theatre hall, which forms the heart of the building. The theatre hall with a total area of 730m² can be adapted in many ways and also offers a 240m² stage area with professional sound, lighting and stage technology.
