Ischl New Year's Concert

On January 1st, 2026, at 4:30 pm, the Salon Orchestra Bad Goisern will enchant the residents of Bad Ischl and everyone else at their New Year's Concert in the Congress & Theater House Bad Ischl, ushering in the new year. The concert will feature solo performances and duets by Sophie Schneider (soprano) and Sebastian Rindberger (tenor).

The Bad Goisern Salon Orchestra surprises at traditional New Year's concerts with unconventional arrangements and outstanding soloists.

In addition to Viennese waltzes, polkas and marches between Johann Strauss and Franz Lehár, the salon orchestra also shines with great overtures and specially arranged solo works, written exclusively for us by arranger Thomas Reiner .

Conductor Alexander Rindberger founded the Bad Goisern Salon Orchestra in 2007, bringing together young, talented musicians from the region and professional musicians, including graduates of the Mozarteum University Salzburg.
